DarkWarZ is an independent private server project that aims to provide players with a fair, safe, and sustainable gaming environment. All players who register for, log into, or use our services are expected to follow the rules below.
By continuing to use the server, players are considered to accept the rules in force and the terms of service that apply to them. Please read every section carefully.

1. Account Security and Responsibility
- Each player is responsible for the security of their account and for protecting their account information.
- Sharing passwords with third parties is not recommended. The administration cannot be held responsible in every case for losses caused by account sharing, carelessness, or the player’s own security failures.
- Unauthorized access to another player’s account, stealing account information, or attempting to steal an account is strictly prohibited.
- Selling, buying, or transferring accounts for real money, cryptocurrency, or any other value outside the game is prohibited.
- Using another player’s account to gain an unfair advantage or compromise account security is prohibited.
- Players who believe their account security has been compromised should report it promptly through official support channels.
- The administration may temporarily restrict accounts suspected of a security breach while they are being investigated.

2. Cheats, Bots, and Unauthorized Software
- Using bots, macros, auto-clickers, automated mission or attack tools, or other unauthorized software that performs in-game actions without player input is prohibited.
- Using third-party programs, modified clients, or unauthorized game tools that give a player an unfair advantage is prohibited.
- Manipulating game packets, bypassing client checks, making unauthorized changes to game memory, or abusing game mechanics is prohibited.
- Attempting to bypass security systems used to detect cheating is prohibited.
- An account may be suspended temporarily or permanently if cheating or a serious security violation is detected.
- An HWID (device identifier) ban may be issued depending on the severity and nature of the violation.
- In-game resources, equipment, points, and other gains obtained through cheating may be removed.
- The administration evaluates sanctions based on game logs, technical data, and available evidence.
- Players may appeal sanctions through official channels. An appeal does not automatically remove a penalty.

3. Game Bugs and Security Vulnerabilities
- Knowingly exploiting a game bug or security vulnerability for your own or another person’s benefit is prohibited.
- Gaining resources, equipment, experience, ranking points, or any other advantage by exploiting bugs is prohibited.
- Players are expected to report significant game bugs and security vulnerabilities through official support channels.
- Using vulnerabilities to damage the server, affect other players, or encourage others to exploit them is prohibited.
- Gains found to have been obtained through exploits may be removed, and the accounts involved may be sanctioned.

4. Multiple Accounts and Unfair Advantage
- The administration may set limits and permitted uses for multiple accounts and announce them through official channels.
- Using multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, unfairly collect event rewards, or disrupt the game economy is prohibited.
- Collusive kills, deliberately taking turns losing or being killed to farm points, and similar ranking manipulation are prohibited.
- Manipulating competitive systems or event results through agreements with other players is prohibited.
- If multiple accounts are found to have been used for an unfair advantage, each involved account may be sanctioned separately.

5. In-Game Economy and Assets
- Credits, Uridium, equipment, ships, resources, points, and other in-game assets must be obtained only through methods permitted by the server.
- Duplicating or altering in-game assets through unauthorized methods or exploiting system vulnerabilities is prohibited.
- Buying or selling in-game assets for real money is prohibited unless expressly permitted by the administration.
- Players are expected to report gains received because of an incorrect reward, mistaken credit, or system failure.
- Assets found to have been obtained unfairly may be removed.
- The administration may make necessary adjustments to preserve the game economy. Changes that significantly affect players will be announced in advance whenever possible.

6. Chat and Community Rules
- Communicate respectfully in in-game chat, Discord, and official community spaces associated with DarkWarZ.
- Racism, discrimination, hate speech, threats, targeting, and harassment are prohibited.
- Severe insults, persistent provocation, and deliberately disrupting other players’ experience are prohibited.
- Insults or provocation targeting the community over religion, politics, or other sensitive topics are prohibited.
- Unauthorized advertising of other game servers, websites, or communities is prohibited.
- Spam, flooding, misleading links, and sharing malicious links are prohibited.
- Sharing another player’s personal information without permission or using it to threaten them is prohibited.
- Messages that violate the rules may be removed; depending on the violation, a warning, chat restriction, or account penalty may be applied.

7. Impersonation and Fraud
- Misleading players by claiming to be a DarkWarZ administrator, developer, moderator, or other authority figure is prohibited.
- Requesting passwords or personal information from players through fake rewards, free in-game currency, account recovery, or similar promises is prohibited.
- Collecting payments or donations without authorization on behalf of the administration is prohibited.
- Attempts to defraud players are treated as serious violations and may result in sanctions, including permanent account closure.
- Players should report suspicious situations only through official support channels.

8. Server Security and Infrastructure Protection
- Activities intended to damage the DarkWarZ server, website, game client, or infrastructure are prohibited.
- DDoS attacks, unauthorized access attempts, service disruption, and attempts to bypass security measures are prohibited.
- Attempting to access unauthorized admin panels, API endpoints, databases, or server files is prohibited.
- Obtaining or misusing server files, software, or technical information without authorization is prohibited.
- Technical and administrative measures may be taken against anyone who damages the infrastructure or deliberately prevents other players from accessing the service.
- Illegal activities may be reported to the relevant authorities when necessary.

9. Game Client and Technical Use
- Players must use the game client and access methods authorized by DarkWarZ.
- Client modifications that disable security measures, facilitate cheating, or alter game operation without authorization are prohibited.
- Software, packet, or connection manipulation that could disrupt server operation is prohibited.
- Players may be asked to provide relevant error information through official support channels to help resolve technical issues.
- Not every problem caused by software on a player’s device or by connection issues is within the administration’s control.

10. Administrative Authority and Penalties
- The administration is responsible for enforcing the rules, protecting the game environment, and maintaining server security.
- Appropriate sanctions are determined based on the type, severity, repetition, and impact of a violation.
- Possible sanctions include verbal or written warnings, chat restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account bans, HWID bans where necessary, and removal of unfair gains or in-game assets connected to a violation.
- Cheating, fraud, attacks on the server, or serious security violations may result in sanctions without a prior warning.
- More than one sanction may be applied together, depending on the nature of the violation.
- The administration may temporarily restrict accounts it considers necessary during a security investigation.
- Players may use official appeal channels to request a review of a penalty.
- Complaints about officials abusing their authority may be submitted through official channels.

11. Maintenance, Updates, and Technical Outages
- DarkWarZ may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security work, or infrastructure issues.
- Planned maintenance and major updates will be announced in advance whenever possible.
- Unexpected technical failures, connection interruptions, or problems caused by third-party service providers may occur.
- In the event of data corruption, a security incident, or a technical failure, data may be restored from backups or game data may be corrected.
- The administration will use technical logs and available backups to restore data as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee that all progress will always be preserved.
- Updates may change game balance, features, events, or the in-game economy. Significant changes will be explained through official channels whenever possible.

12. Service Continuity and Server Closure
- DarkWarZ is designed as a long-term project, and appropriate technical and operational measures are taken to support service continuity.
- Even with robust infrastructure, backups, and security measures, uninterrupted service or a guarantee that the server will remain open for a specific period cannot be promised.
- If the server must close for technical, financial, legal, or force majeure reasons, the goal is to announce the closure through official channels at least 15 days in advance where possible, so players can prepare.
- If an urgent legal, security, or technical situation makes advance notice impossible, information will be provided as soon as possible.
- Closure, data retention, in-game assets, and any paid digital products will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant service terms.
- If the server closes, indefinite access or transfer of in-game progress to another platform is not guaranteed.

13. Donations, Support Payments, and Digital Products
- Voluntary support payments to the server may be used to cover project expenses and continue development.
- If in-game benefits, digital products, or services are offered in return for support, their contents, price, and conditions will be clearly stated before payment.
- Voluntary donations and payments made in exchange for a product or service are treated separately.
- Refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled according to the nature of the transaction, the conditions disclosed in advance, and applicable law.
- Benefits obtained through unauthorized payment methods, payment fraud, or fraudulent transactions may be investigated and the related assets may be removed.
- Players may contact official support channels about payment-related disputes.

14. Privacy and Personal Data Protection
- Players’ personal data must be processed in accordance with applicable law and the published privacy policy.
- Data required to provide the service, secure accounts, detect cheating, and investigate technical issues may be processed for the stated purposes and on a valid legal basis.
- Details about processing and retaining data such as IP addresses, account activity, and security logs are described in the privacy policy.
- Appropriate security measures are taken to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.
- Player data-protection requests are handled under applicable law and the relevant request procedures.
- Sharing another player’s personal information without permission is prohibited.

15. Changes to the Rules
- The DarkWarZ administration may update the rules in response to the development of the server, security needs, and community requirements.
- Changes will be announced on the official website, Discord, or other designated official channels.
- The effective date of significant changes will be clearly stated.
- Players are expected to review the current rules regularly.
- The introduction of new rules does not remove rights players have under applicable law.

16. Official Communication and Support
- Account issues, ban appeals, technical errors, security vulnerabilities, and other complaints must be submitted only through support channels announced by DarkWarZ.
- Players should provide accurate and sufficient information to help explain the issue in their support requests.
- Requests are reviewed according to workload and the nature of the issue.
- The administration may not guarantee a specific response time for every request.
- There is no guarantee that reports submitted outside official channels will be followed up.

17. Brand, Content, and Independent Project Notice
- DarkWarZ is an independent private server project.
- Rights to third-party brands, names, images, software, and other intellectual property used in the project may belong to their respective owners.
- Use of these materials must comply with applicable law and any required permissions.
- The project must not be presented as officially partnered or affiliated with a third party unless such a relationship actually exists.

18. Final Provisions
- Players are expected to follow these rules while using DarkWarZ services.
- Rule violations may result in account restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account closure, depending on the nature of the violation.
- Nothing in this text is intended to limit rights that cannot be waived by agreement under applicable law.
- If any provision becomes unenforceable, that does not automatically invalidate the remaining provisions.
